Semi-finished and finished export
products
Ecuadorian cacao is used in the
international market to produce
fine chocolates. The production
process of cacao semi-finished
products begins with the finest
fermentation of the beans, after
which all foreign matters that
might affect their flavor are
discarded. When beans are toasted,
the characteristic aroma of Ecuadorian
cocoa is all the more heightened.
The
main cacao semi-finished products
exported include: cacao liqueur,
cacao butter, powder cacao and
chocolates.
All
cacao semi-finished and finished
products are subjected to strict
quality controls before, during
and after processing. These controls
include physical, chemical, organoleptic
and microbiologic tests, which
guarantee that the product is
pollutant-free. This has allowed
our products to enjoy the trust
of our clients around the world
through the years.
The
main markets for cocoa semi-finished
and finished products include
the United States, Chile, Colombia,
Holland, New Zealand, Peru, France,
Belgium, Spain, Mexico, and Japan.
