Our plant in Ecuador is located 50 kilometres from Guayaquil, near Cerecita, in one of the poorest regions. The villages around the farm benefit from our activity as we employ eighty people; ninety percent of them are women. We help women achieve their economic independence and improve their standards of living. This year we will finish our first nursery for all the children that have parents working in our factory and our farm. The nursery will help these children improve their education and nutrition. It will also allow more women to start working with us as we expand our production capacity.
